Access to healthcare is crucial, yet rural residents often face significant barriers. The Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) Project - WADA bridges this gap by delivering essential health services directly to those in need.
Serving 15 villages in WADA, our MMU team focuses on providing primary healthcare and preventive care at the community's doorstep. This facilitates early diagnosis and treatment, guiding patients to tertiary healthcare facilities when necessary.
The MMU project offers a range of services to enhance community health, including primary care, specialist consultations, referral services, health education, and social support. Emphasizing maternal and child health, we follow government guidelines for antenatal, postnatal, and immunization services, detect high-risk pregnancies, and promote institutional deliveries to reduce maternal mortality.
Special health check-up camps are organized based on community needs, aiding early disease detection and management.
The MMU Project - WADA is dedicated to increasing health-seeking behavior and improving health outcomes in rural areas.
