MAHI Project

The project MAHI- Menstrual Awareness and Hygiene Initiative is being implemented at 33 selected schools from Mumbai slums and Wada, Palghar. These selected schools are being supported with installation of Sanitary Napkin Vending Machine and Incinerator along with supply of one-year free stock of Sanitary Napkins. Special Health Education sessions are being organized in these schools on Menstrual Health and Hygiene management for girls from 8 th to 10th standard. 3300 girls and 50 female school teachers will benefit under this program in FY 2023-24.
