Amruta Godbole-Majalkar, comes to Niramaya with a rich experience in Public Health sector for several years. She is a Health Scientist graduated in Public Health from University of Pune. She has designed and launched many public health programs. She has special interest in public health research and was associated with the Harvard School of Public Health. Her articles especially on stigma in HIV/AIDS have been published in scientific journals and she is also working on many more. Apart from writing on scientific issues Amruta has also written articles on fiction.
She has provided training in “How to quit tobacco”. Has taught undergraduate public health at the University of Pune and had been associated actively for its syllabus review. Determined to bring about a change in the health status of women and children of India, Amruta envisions Niramaya’s wider role in contributing towards the underprivileged of the city for its holistic development. |

Dr. Vinayak
Sonawane is associated with Niramaya since
last six months. A dynamic bachelor in
Indian medicine from Podar Medical School.
Vinayak is very keen to work in field of
Public Health. Vinayak comes with background
of public health experience as an intern in
medical school (Where he went out of the way
to) conduct camps far tribal in villages
near matheran. He is passionate about
providing Health care to the poors and truly
believes in Niramaya mission. Vinayak is a
very Sincere and hard working doctor and
dreams of an India where people are self
responsible for their own health.
Vinayak Loves cricket and even represented
as sports secretary in collage council. |
